CCG Elite Opens New Office in Shanghai
New office and key employees allow CCG Elite to further expansion in Asia
New York City, NY and Shanghai, CHINA -- (October 16, 2007) – With an eye towards continuing growth of publicly traded companies from China, CCG Elite today announced the opening of its newest office in Shanghai.
Building on its existing presence in Beijing and Hong Kong, CCG Elite opened the Shanghai office to serve its growing client based in Eastern China and establish a stronger presence in China leading financial center. The new office, located at 12/F Platinum Plaza, 233 Tai Cang Road, Xintiandi, Shanghai 200020, PRC.

Karen Wang joins CCG Elite as the Shanghai Representative with a focus on U.S. listed clients in Eastern China. Karen joins CCG Elite from the C.P. Group where she was concurrently a manager with Shanghai Suntell Investment and a vice president with Shanghai Sunwise International Trading Co, Ltd. Her many responsibilities included due diligence on acquisitions and joint ventures for the group, as well as managing connections with manufacturers, research institutions and consulting firms. Prior to the C.P Group, Karen worked with the Fudan Management Group as a Consultant. Karen holds both a Masters of Industrial Economics and a Bachelors of International Business Administration from Shanghai’s Fudan University.
David Zhou joins CCG Elite in Shanghai as an Account Representative. Before joining CCG, David was an associate for Growell Research and Consulting in Shanghai. He was tasked with editing the company’s regular China Steel Briefing report as well as creation of other market surveys and financial analysis. David also worked with the Drory Investment & Development Company, in their real estate analysis division, providing information to aid in investment decisions. David holds a BA in Finance from INTI College in Malaysia and a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Hertfordshire, in the UK.
Mellissa Kong will serve as an Account Representative in the Shanghai office. Previously, Mellissa was an Associate for the CCG office in New York. Prior to CCG, Mellissa worked with the China-U.S Chamber of Commerce. She managed and organized the China-U.S Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural ceremony, as well as their public relations activities. She has also interned at several investor relations firms and assisted on accounts covering several industries including pharmaceuticals, real estate, chemicals, and financial services. Mellissa has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, with an emphasis on Corporate Communication from Baruch College, New York. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
Ida Yu moves to the Shanghai office from CCG Elite in Beijing as an Account Representative. Prior to joining CCG Elite, she served as an account manager at China Mobile Communication Corporation in Shanghai. Previously, Ida was employed as a credit officer at Shanghai Development Bank. She recently passed her CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I exam and will proceed to Level II in the near future. Ida obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Shanghai University and her Master of Science in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School, London. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Zhou Fan, who also relocated to the Shanghai office from Beijing, is responsible for executing strategic media relations programs for CCG Elite clients in Beijing. Prior to joining CCG Elite, she worked for CFO China, analyzing the investment environment of secondary cities in China. She was also a financial journalist for Caijing Magazine (the most reputable finance magazine in China) and for China Business Review (the first finance and economy daily in China). Zhou Fan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication from China Youth University and her Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Communication and International Relations from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
